Analysis of vital signs

To me I took vital signs to be the most significant, without it will we nurses be able to treat or understand our patient's conditions. Vitals signs are a group of the four to six most important signs that indicate the status of the body's vital functions. Which are body temperature, blood pressure (BP), pulse, breathing, height, and weight.

The reason why I chose this, it because vital signs make up of the first in the nursing process (assessment). There are many ways each sign has that can be of use with their very own instruments. For example, body temperature you can record by using orally, rectally, axillary, by ear, or by skin. Like I said they determine which treatment protocol to follow, provide critical information needed to make life-saving decisions, and confirm the results of the treatment to know if its positive or negative. By taking vital signs we can be able to diagnose patients easier like if they have hypothermia, hyperthermia, fluid volume deficient, body temperature, maybe even impaired breathing
