Outfoxed
* What do you think about this video's depiction of the media? What did you like? What didn't you like? Do you believe this is true? Why or why not?
* "Outfoxed" examines whether and how media empires, led by Rupert Murdoch's Fox News, have an active campaign to misinform people for personal gain. This film provides an in-depth look at Fox News and the dangers of ever-enlarging corporations taking control of the public's right to know. Though focused on Fox, the most biased of the mainstream networks, this movie also shows the power of our media today in shaping our opinions. In this Robert Greenwald Film, former Fox employees discuss how the company was run and how opinions from the head office were systematically disseminated through affiliates.
* First off i think this doc. should be listed under media. Fox may very well be a conservative propaganda machine but first and for most they are a entertainment- media organization. They do something others don't; they compile their diverse information into one outlet.
* They have made a niche for themselves by trying to represent the right-wing point of view in an overall liberal media. They don't care about promoting right-wing ideals; they care about making money by exploiting them.
* I believe this is true because truth has no agenda"....you bring up some very valid points indeed. I'd say though, the moral of your insight is, whether we see "far left" or "far right" does not quite matter, both sides of political spectrum seemingly as corrupt as the other
* What type of news reporting should we travel in the United States? Does Fox news represent other news channel?
A consideration of how other news outlets operates is necessary to show just how different Fox News Channel is from CNN, MSNBC, PBS or the Network News on ABC, CBS or NBC. If, as certain people suggest, CNN is the Clinton News Network, how is their practicing of journalism any different from Fox's? The documentary makes too many assumptions about what constitutes objective journalism. It ends up sounding like liberal journalism
* If you owned a news channel, what should you do differently from what you observed in video? Who would you hire? What would you want your target audience to be?

Family environment and the press are two major influences resulting in the recent tragic school shootings. The most recent school shooting in Michigan involved a six-year-old first...
In the past there were and are many disputes over the high salaries of professional athletes. I think that these athletes should receive the high salaries that they deserve. One reason why I think professional athletes should receive such high salaries is that they are highly skilled. Professional athletes train and practice hard almost everyday an...

In politics it would be novel to have a gracious rival. Modern political campaigners might take a lesson in graciousness and kindness from the great British statesman, Edward Campbell . Once when Campbell was opposing Thackereay for a seat in Parliament, the two contenders, in course of their campaigning, met and engaged in friendly conversation....
