Boring, waste of time, it's useless in this day and age. This is what many people say when I tell them I plan to pursue a college major in history. In my opinion, history is the most important major of them all. Studying history is like traveling back in time to understand the past. It directly places me in the past with people and cultures making it seem as if I am actually living during that time period.
The history of war intrigues me the most. I like to learn how it began, who influenced it, why they started and the series of events in each war. This is a great thing to learn, and have a good understanding about this can help resolve future world issues. I can also use my knowledge on war to ...
