As I sit down in front of my computer attempting to write my letter to the court, with the intent to reflect upon my actions and apologize for my actions I am overtaken by other thoughts. Should I be apologizing to the judge and the court, or should I instead be apologizing to my family and parents? Who would have been more affected by my reckless driving, the officer who stopped me, the judge who sentenced me or my parents who put faith in me, bought me a car and rely on my good judgment and have faith that as an adult I will be more responsible and not let them down.
