The largest sector of the economy is the tertiary sector accounting for around 54% of GDP. Malaysia's secondary sector has been growing in recent years and now accounts for 25 percent of GDP and more than 60% of total exports. Primary industries like agriculture, mining and quarrying constitutes 18% of GDP.
