Levi's surgi? a mediados del siglo de la fusi?n de ambiciones de un inmigrante alem?n, Levi Strauss, establecido con ?xito como hombre de negocios en California, y un sastre Jacob Davis, natural de Reno (Nevada), que invent? un pantal?n de algod?n especial, con ribetes para proteger los castigados bolsillos de los mineros que buscaban oro.
