Introducci?n

En este trabajo voy a hablar sobre el folclor, caracter'sticas, algunos bailes y adem's hablare acerca del voleibol.

El Folclor


* El folclor es la expresi?n de la cultura de un pueblo, cuentos, m'sicas, bailes, leyendas, chistes, etc. Incluyendo las tradiciones. Muestra la identidad de un lugar, en la regi?n de Antofagasta el folclor es m's religioso, como por ejemplo La tirana aunque no se le da mucha importancia en general.

Bailes de la zona sur.

Refalosa

La refalosa fue una danza que goz? de gran popularidad hacia mediados del siglo XIX en Buenos Aires, Lima y Santiago. En Chile fue gran competidora de la zamacueca, decayendo, posteriormente en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX, dejando libre paso a la primera. Se bail? desde Coquimbo a Pe?aflor. Luego se extendi? hasta Caut?n hacia el sur, encontr?ndose despu's en Chilo? con caracter'sticas diferentes. No se sabe a ciencia cierta c?mo lleg? a esta ?ltima regi?n, ya que no se han encontrado datos de dicho baile entre las provincias de Caut?n a Llanquihue.

En la Zamba-Refalosa -- como tambi?n se llama -- interviene una pareja de bailarines que realiza un escobillado sencillo, combinado con un zapateo estilo chilote, present?ndose el hombre recio y la mujer liviana.

La pericona

Los chilotes consideran a la pericona uno de los bailes m's populares de la zona. Es una danza interpretada en todas las fiestas de Chilo?. La bailan, por lo general, cuatro personas, con paso escobillado, pa?uelo y se realizan seis vueltas de derecha a izquierda. Si bien es un baile t?picamente chilote, esta danza se ha dispersado a Valdivia, la Patagonia chilena e incluso en la zona central donde se le llama "peric?n".

Es una danza de parejas sueltas e independientes.

La Pericona, es creaci?n local, est? constituida en su forma estr?fica por seguidilla de cuatro y siete versos; rudimentarios elementos coreogr?ficos de contradanza.

Todas las fiestas de Chilo? se vieron animadas con su presencia: el Med?n, el Lloco, la Minga, incluso algunas de car?cter religioso como la celebraci?n de San Juan.

El Costillar

Es un baile que vio sus or?genes en las tertulias y reuniones, especialmente de la zona de Chill?n. El costillar es una danza festiva y competitiva alrededor de una botella colocada en el centro de la pista. La caracter'stica del costillar es la destreza y agilidad de los bailarines al ir bailando alrededor de una botella, puesta al centro de la pista, sobre la que deben ir cerrando cada vez m's el c?rculo. Los bailarines deben saltar, zapatear y redoblar con fuerza alrededor de la botella. El que derriba o bota la botella debe pagar una multa o simplemente pierde y debe retirarse de la pista de baile.

El Costillar es una danza de funci?n festiva y competitiva alrededor de una botella colocada en el centro de la pista. Gana la pareja que no derriba ninguna botella. El Costillar es una danza de pareja suelta e independiente formada habitualmente por hombres, aunque a veces suele ser mixta. Pueden participar varias parejas como tambi?n una sola.
