A curfew is a regulation requiring certain or all people to leave the streets or be at home at a prescribed hour, which is mostly at 10 p.m. Some parents give their children curfews and some don't. But before deciding what is right for your teen and your community, take a look at the fact about teenagers' curfews. This is often a topic of debate among teens and their parents. The pros and cons of curfews for teens are often discussed among parents of teens and community leaders as well. Many people support imposing a curfew for teenagers, believing that this will create a reduction in juvenile crime and victimization.
