I am Aiden, and I speak for the trees. The Georgia Oak has many different names. For example Quercus Georgiana, Georgia Oak, and Stone Mountain Oak. It is in the Fagaceae Family. The Georgia Oak is native to the southeast United States and lives in Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina. It is a small deciduous tree growing up to 32-50ft in height.

The Georgia Oak tree is important because they give off some of our oxygen and provide a food source to animals. It's acorns are eaten by woodpeckers, the tufted titmouse, the Carolina Wren, as well as deer and other small mammals.
